Synopsis

Buttercup (Robin Wright-Penn) is kidnapped by her fiancé, her true-love, Westley (Cary Elwes), is dead and she is perused remorselessly by his killer. But not even death can get in the way of true love. This is a fairy tale of monsters, pirates, revenge, marriage, giants, miracles, extraordinary swordsmanship and daring do.

Rob Reiner’s family classic is pure unadulterated entertainment. With a superb list of cameos, including Peter Cook, Billy Crystal and Peter Falk, strong characters and great dialogue this is an old favourite that more than stands the test of time. Although the trailer’s a bit ropey!
