Synopsis

CC Baxter (Jack Lemmon) is the put upon insurance salesman who happens to own a rather swanky apartment in Manhattan. To ‘earn’ a promotion he lets his boss use it for his affairs. The only problem is that the woman in question (Shirley MacLaine) is also the woman he loves.

Despite being 50 years old this year, everything about the office politics and the relationships feels modern and fresh. Winner of 5 Oscars, including Best Screenplay, Best Director and Best Picture, the great Billy Wilder’s social comedy is a genuine classic and possibly the best romantic comedy of all time.
