Synopsis
Two Dublin hitmen, ordered to lie low after a job goes wrong, await instructions in Bruges. For Ken (Gleeson), the city’s history and beauty are inspiring. For Ray (Farrell), it’s purgatory. Bizarre turns with tourists, prostitutes, a beautiful local and an American dwarf lead the story down increasingly surreal and dark side streets. But will Bruges be Ray’s redemption or a one-way ticket to Hell?
Colin Farrell finally earned his acting spurs with a Golden Globe for his performance in Martin McDonagh’s Oscar nominated and BAFTA winning film. With a screenplay that crackles and fizzes with wit and expletives, this is one of the funniest and certainly the most philosophical thrillers in years.

In Bruge – top film. Far better than I expected and a great start to Crystal Palace Pictures’ very first season of films.
